A Saylormade cake is beautifully crafted with all-natural ingredients and heirloom recipes. It’s a cake you can trust to taste as delightful as it looks. I believe a wedding cake shouldn’t have to sacrifice flavor for design, and vice versa. All of my cakes are iced & decorated with swiss meringue buttercream for a natural & mouthwatering finish. You won’t find any fondant covered cakes here! Cakes are priced based on the complexity of their design and fall into one of three categories below.
$3.00 per slice
Naked Cakes are minimally iced and let the natural beauty of the cake’s layers shine through. They look gorgeous decorated with fresh fruit & flowers.
$3.25 per slice
Clean, simple & modern. This kind of cake will be fully iced to a satiny smooth finish. Another great canvas for adding fresh flowers and other decorative elements from your wedding.
$3.50 per slice
These cakes will be fully iced & decorated with swiss meringue buttercream. Ruffles, Flowers, Ombre, Piped Details – the options here are endless!

Most of my cakes are built with 3 layers of cake and 2 layers of filling per tier. Additional cake or filling layers can be added for an additional cost.
The amount of servings per tier varies depending on how generously you slice the cake, but these are the serving amounts that we use here.

Red Velvet Cake w/ Creamy Goat Cheese Frosting
This is my grandmother’s recipe for Red Velvet Cake and my family has been making it for more than 30 years! It’s a wonderfully moist buttermilk cake with just a touch of cocoa. I like to frost it with a slightly tangy and uber creamy goat cheese frosting, which gives a little update to this classic cake.
What’s better than a strawberry rhubarb cake for a spring or summer wedding? This is a classic vanilla bean cake layered with a sweet but tart curd made from local rhubarb, and covered in fresh strawberry swiss meringue buttercream.
Vanilla Bean Cake w/ Fresh Berries & Green Tea Buttercream
This fluffy vanilla bean cake is layered with seasonal fresh berries and silky matcha green tea infused swiss meringue buttercream.
Rich buttermilk cake is studded with fresh blueberries and layered with a sweet but tart meyer lemon curd, then covered in the silkiest honey buttercream frosting.
Fluffy Funfetti Cake w/ Vanilla Bean Buttercream
Oh, funfetti! Sometimes no other cake will do – even at a wedding! We can class this cake up and keep the party on the inside, or just run wild with the sprinkle explosion. Either way, this delicious & nostalgic cake will put a smile on all of your guests faces.
Dark Chocolate Cake w/ Lapsang Souchong Salted Caramel
This is my signature chocolate cake. It’s crazy moist, crazy rich, crazy flavorful. For extra brownie points, I like to layer it with a homemade Lapsang Souchong infused salted caramel sauce that gives it a hint of smokiness.
Chocolate Lavender Cake w/ Mascarpone Buttercream
This cake just may be your new favorite. Lavender infused chocolate cake is layered with deliciously creamy, slightly tangy Italian mascarpone buttercream.
Carrot Walnut Cake w/ Creamy Goat Cheese Frosting
If you like heavenly carrot cakes, then this is for you! This cake is chock full of flavor & texture from grated carrot, toasted walnut, golden raisin, shredded coconut and diced pineapple. It’s then filled with a slightly tangy and uber creamy goat cheese frosting.
Coconut Tres Leches Cake w/ Coconut Chantilly Cream
This cake is really more of an ocho leches cake! This moist, milky cake is flavored with lots of rich coconut milk and layered with freshly whipped coconut chantilly cream.
Dark Chocolate Ganache Cake w/ Peanut Butter Mousse
Say no more. I layer my signature dark chocolate cake with the fluffiest, creamiest peanut butter mousse for a true chocolate peanut butter flavor explosion. This cake can then be covered in a rich, glossy dark chocolate ganache, or covered in a vanilla swiss meringue buttercream to keep its devilish contents a secret.
